Bioinformatics Six Nations Competition 2013

Welcome to the hi-score table for the competition so far. This is by far the greatest number of people taking part in the competition since its inception several years ago. We have a grand total of 65 entries! In recognition of this the prizes will now be:

1. FIRST PRIZE – Blue-C trophy & £10

2. SECOND PRIZE - £5

ALL DRAWS: If you fall below this line then your predictions contain no useful information whatsoever, as it suggests you cannot predict who will win, let alone by how much. Shame on you.

WISDOM OF THE CROWD: This prediction is created by taking the average of all your forecasts. If you fall below this line it suggests you are poorer than average at predicting the results.

SKYBET: This is the handicap used by Sky and represents their prediction of the median points difference.

BLUE-C: This is the prediction made by our illustrious and talented Bioinformatics team using state of the art slide-rules and such. It utilises only the six nations scores from previous years yet consistently appears in the top third of the table. If you can beat this you are either pretty good or pretty lucky!
